So what do you think your body does with all that processed sugar?  It converts it over to body fat and stores it in the areas you like least.  Your body being the magnificent machine that it is specializes in storing fat.  This has to do with our ancestors who went days sometimes without food.

You try on your clothes and guess what, they feel even tighter than before. You're even more confused now because you listened to what you were told and began ONLY eating “low fat”.

So here we go again....

Stay away from carbs and sugars is what they tell you unless you want to get fat.  And now carbs are supposed to be the enemy and the marketing agencies for these companies let you know it.  But your body will always strive for homeostasis.

So the viscous cycle begins.

The first few pounds fall right off…because you removed an entire food group.  You're now undereating and the body goes in to survival mode (also know as fat storing mode). You begin to dump muscle tissue, your metabolism  begins to slow and suddenly all progress stops and in most instances, you begin to get fatter.
